Card of the Day: February 21st to 26th
Monday:
Lonefire333:
The sole Planeswalker from Mirrodin Besieged is making quite a
splash on the competitive scene. His +1 ability generates
instant card advantage and his -1 ability turns your 0 or 1 CMC
Artifacts into massive 5/5 Creatures, that RETAIN their abilities.
Put all that aside and his trump card can be either a real game
changer or the final nail in the coffin. He is slowly rising in
price, so get yours while you can.

LucienWolf:
This guy is a game changer. This lonely Planeswalker from Mirrodin Besieged brings the best out of low-powered artifacts and gives them a power boost. He's low cost, and effective. He's got a "Pick your Artifact" effect, and sends the rest to the bottom, so he cycles through the deck effectively. Black/Blue Control with Artifacts can make him most effective.
Standard 4/5
Art 5/5
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
(2)UB
Planeswalker - Tezzeret
(+1): Look at the top five cards of your library. You may reveal
an artifact card from among them and put it into your hand. Put
the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
(-1): Target artifact becomes a 5/5 artifact creature.
(-4): Target player loses X life and you gain X life, where X is
twice the number of artifacts you control.

Tuesday:
Lonefire333:
This card is the backbone of White decks right now that aren't
metalcraft or Battlecry. As one of the 5 Titans, he holds a great
amount of power. The very White Vigilance keyword and a recursion
for Creatures with a CMC of 3 or lower. This provides a great
deal of swarming capabilities and allows a variety of options for
you to grab onto. My personal hope is that the Titans don't get
reprinted in M12. They had their time and let us move on to
something else.
4/5 - Standard
3/5 - Art
LucienWolf:
A 6/6 with Vigilance for 6, with THAT effect? If your plan was to use small stuff, this is your guy. Any permanent in the graveyard can be brought back to the battlefield with this guy. Small Soldiers, Elves, and things of the sort. However, this can be very effective with lands. Tectonic Edge is a good land to recycle to keep your opponent's land base slim. You can also use this on fetch lands such as Terramorphic Expanse, and Evolving Wilds to produce more resources.

Vigilance
Whenever Sun Titan enters the battlefield or attacks, you may
return target permanent card with converted mana cost 3 or less
from your graveyard to the battlefield.

Re: Card of the Day: February 21st to 26th
Wednesday:
Lonefire333:
For a small 2 CMC this card poses quite the threat to any deck.
Comboing with Bloodghast and countless other cards that Vampires
have up their sleeves, she is a passive powerhouse. She makes
your opponent think twice about attacking, blocking and makes
their killspells target this lovely creature. I'm going to hate
to see it rotate out of Standard.

LucienWolf:
This creature simply hurts. Put this in a straight vampire build with some low cost Vampires that will get thrashed easy. You will suddenly see the game turn in your favor even though you are losing some trusted Vampires. Use this card with Butcher of Malakir and your in for a feasting.

Kalastria Highborn

Creature - Vampire Shaman
Whenever Kalastria Highborn or another Vampire you control is put
into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may pay (B). If you
do, target player loses 2 life and you gain 2 life.

Re: Card of the Day: February 21st to 26th
Thursday:
Lonefire333:
This creature is downright amazing. Twisting our beloved
Darksteel Colossus into this beacon of demise and Phyrexis is a
testamant to the strength and power of Phyrexia. Trample and
Infect causes him to pierce through with Poison counters and
Indestructable makes him damn near unstoppable. He is however
stopped by Exile and returning to the deck/hand. This card with
Shape Anew is a great combo, albeit a bit inconsistent.
Standard - 5/5
Art - 5/5
LucienWolf:
This is the mightiest Infect creature ever. 11/11 With Trample, Infect, and Indestructible with the Recycle effect. Like his brother Darksteel Colossus, he's quite the cost, 12. Try to invest this guy into into a Green Mana Ramp Myr deck. You could potentially get this guy out in turn 5. Find something to give him haste, or wait for your next turn to add Overwhelming Stampede. This guy is simply a beast, and probably a game ender when out.
Standard 5/5

Blightsteel Colossus
(12)
Artifact Creature - Golem
Trample
Infect
Blightsteel Colossus is indestructible.
If Blightsteel Colossus would be put into a graveyard from
anywhere, reveal Blightsteel Colossus and shuffle it into its
owner's library instead.

Re: Card of the Day: February 21st to 26th
Friday:
Massacre Wurm
(3)BBB
Creature - Wurm
When Massacre Wurm enters the battlefield, creatures your opponents control get -2/-2 until end of turn.
Whenever a creature an opponent controls is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, that player loses 2 life.
6/5
Lonefire333:
This card is a great replacement for Grave Titan in black decks. Provides the power that is needed and a massive wipe of the field. Against token based decks such as Myr or Soldiers, this card can be a win condition in itself. If you can't afford Grave Titan or downright prefer Massacre Wurm, run this.
Standard - 5/5

LucienWolf:
A 6/5 for 6 with a 2x Shrivel. I hope your opponent isn't using many low-power creatures when you drop this guy. He is devastating if your opponent is stacking up on Eldrazi Spawn tokens, or just has too many low-power creatures out. Overall, he'll do some serious damage.
