There was a press release that an Official Pokemon TCG Online would be up and running around September this year.
I hope it is easier to get a hold of cards than MTGO.

If it is free to start so will i. the only reason i dont play pokemon is cause i cant afford it.

I would do the official YGO online, but that costs money as well. I suspect this will, unless Pokemon has enough support (I.E. all the games and shows) to make up for it.
