Forbidden Lance
This card is going to effect the meta in someway. I've already employed it into 2 of my decks. The Forbidden Control OTK deck, and my Arcana Force deck. This card is limitless on what it can mess up, also, I may employ it into a new strategy.
What this card stops from the opponent's using against it, and since it's a quick-play it can be used on your opponent's turn.
Cards that won't effect the monster that are normally seen:
Book of Moon/Eclipse
Soul Exchange
Mind Control
Torrential Tribute
Bottomless Trap Hole
Mirror Force
Dark Hole
Solemn Warning(if it's an effect that produces a special summon, IE Deep Sea Diva)
Other cards that are seen in Archtypes that I can not think off the top of my head.
Discuss your opinions of this card.
Select 1 face-up monster on the field. Until the End Phase, it loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.

I used this against one of my friends who was running a Solidarity Penguin build. He declared an attack against my monster with Flying Penguin (boosted to 2000 by Solidarity) and I dropped it down to 400.

That's the wrong card. I used Forbidden Chalice against Gale.

I picked up 2 lance today
They are very good and versatile, just like chalice.

Yeah, I use 2 of each in my Arcana Deck
He tried BoM'ing my Arcana Force XXI - The World, and I choose to lose 800 ATK.
Then he tried to Gale(half my attk) and I used Chalice on that.

the problem is whether it's better to run something that can be MST'd or Giant Trunade'd or to run a monster that cannot be destroyed as easily, such as effect Veiler
